    Congrats Steve! You deserve it.

Someone needs to nominate SteveHoffman.tv for web-site of the year. How does one do this? Anyone?

Gee, I wonder how many hits you'll have by the new year Steve? Did you ever dream you'd become this popular? ;)

    Steve,

    A hearty congratulations! :righton:

A site does not get 2mm hits without good reason!

    Bob:)

It is a sight I "hit" most often on my internet travels.

Congrats, Steve --- great site and a great community.

I find myself spending almost all of my spare time here, to the point where I need that wireless LAN connection into the listening room. I've learned so much in the couple of months that I've been on here, the mind reels.

This forum is really a dream come true for me. Because of it, I've spent more time listening carefully to music--AND being swept away by it--in the last two months than I have for years. And that's saying something, because I listen to a lot of music every day. With this forum, though, I've got fellow enthusiasts to share with, knowledgeable people to learn from, and for the most part a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect that's very rare in this world.

You people make this forum what it is, but it's Steve's work and Steve's participation that set the tone for the whole thing. Steve, you're an inspiration: someone who's still a fan, who still loves music about as much as breathing, and who's managed to find a place in the industry where that love can actually make a difference for the rest of us. What a gift. Keep on chooglin', brother.

This IS an awesome site! It kind of goes to show there are many, many, many people out there who care how and what music should sound like. Unlike some complanies who throw out their releases to the public any way they wish.

    Steve,

The reason for the 2 million hits is due to the efforts of you, Holy Zoo, and all who make this the most informative, friendliest site to visit.

    Kudos!

Great news! Just think of the industry names included in those 2 million hits. Thanks to Steve for sponsoring this site...and to the Gorts who maintain it. With Steve's name and reputation attached to it, we finally have a forum on which we can voice our opinions and concerns that IS seen by folks in the industry who matter...folks who make decisions. Not only has Steve provided a fantastic place for us to learn from one another, he has also provided us with a high profile stage from which our collective voice can be heard. Rest-assured members, this site is accessed by some influential people.

This is a unique site. The back and forth flow of information, comments and plain old talking to each, even at it's most heated, is more civil and interesting than any other web site I've visited. I don't write often but do read most of the things posted. There are many opinions and statements made here that I don't agree completely with but they all do make me think and reconsider. I started visiting the old DCC site and things are better now than ever. Steve, thanks for being the focal point of the site and steering many of the ideas that are pursued. Imagine how things will evolve over the next few years. Good luck with all your current work.
