I suppose this was inevitable, since the 2018 film made more money than the rest of the "Halloween" franchise put together:

Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Prods. have announced two (!) sequels to the mostly-unnecessary "Halloween" reboot that came out last year.
Jamie Lee Curtis will return as Laurie Strode.

"Halloween Kills" will be released in Oct. 2020, and "Halloween Ends" in 2021.

Time will tell if there will be a further installment titled "Halloween Kills ... IN SPACE!" (points to anyone who gets the reference... :D )

I rather Ash vs Michael end it once and for awhile
    I cut up, Michael, with a chainsaw...:D:laugh:

Nobody would've called this in 1978.
Now I have a 15 disc, 10 movie, 14 cuts BD boxed set, + the 2018 BD, and now two more ?
I was actually thinking 5 years ago, oh, this box will be IT. I'm done.

    <sigh> I'm in.

I wish the newer film would have focused more on the PTSD that Laurie suffered due to the original night.

I wonder if they'll film these two movies back-to-back to save money on the production?

  11. Just what we don’t need. They finally ended the franchise on a solid note with a good film. Why let that stand?

So do we find out Michael isn't really dead and Laurie Strode gets killed in the first few minutes of the next movie before it moves on to something completely unrelated?

No, that would be silly :)

Any input from John Carpenter on these? I still need to see the last one. Haven't gotten around to it. Maybe it will show up on Netflix soon.

I want to see a Halloween sequel where Michael Myers goes on a rampage after the Swedish cult in the "MidSommar" movie. That would be AWESOME!

I re-watched both the 1978 and the 2018 films over the past week and they're both excellent. having been a fan of the series since Halloween III (the first one I saw!), I'm glad to see them pick up the pieces and continue the story properly.

I want one of these new flicks to finally reveal that Michael Myers is a rogue Silver Shamrock android from "Halloween III." It would explain why he's so hard to kill.

I was a fan of the Halloween series until I saw "Halloween III" which I thought utterly jumped the shark to the point I bailed on the entire series until this latest one bringing back Jamie Lee Curtis in the 2018 version.

"Halloween III" is the only sequel I'm not terminally sick of. It's spent so many years being hated that now it's actually kind of underrated.

Now what are they going to say only the 1978 counts and everything in Between does not count including the last one, where he died.

This is just stupid, leave it alone already.
