Wonder why they bagged the "Love Is All We Have Left" opener. It was pretty bold.

Crystal Ballroom might be my favorite track off of Songs of Innocence.

Me too(!!!!) and "Lucifer's Hands" might be the second favorite. I'm going to have to spin the album tonight.

I would guess they probably just mean “without repeating the songs from Songs of Innocence.” Trying not to repeat any of the songs plus not having any Joshua Tree songs would be challenging.

Also see they got rid of Sunday Bloody Sunday from the setlist too. Truth be told I hated the version they played on the Songs of Innocence/Experience tours. I'm definitely one of those NOT up for seeing reworked versions of hits in concert

supposedly they have rehearsed Landlady, Mysterious Ways, The Fly, and Dirty Day recently.

Using the "rules" U2 seem to be following for this tour at this point (23 or less songs, no JT songs, no songs from 2015 Paris, keeping recent changes in the set), this is my idea of a workable setlist for the live broadcast:

    -First Set
Love Is All We Have Left
    The Blackout
    Lights Of Home
    Red Flag Day
    The Unforgettable Fire or Gone
    Gloria
    Beautiful Day
    Zoo Station
    Stay (Faraway, So Close!)
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
    -Second Set
    Lemon
    The Fly
    Desire
    Acrobat
You're The Best Thing About Me
    Summer Of Love
    American Soul
Get Out Of Your Own Way
    New Year's Day
The Electric Co or Out Of Control
    -Encore
    Landlady
Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way
    13 (There Is A Light)

Dirty Day was my favorite performance from the ZooTV Sydney show which is full of fantastic performances.

If U2 put Dirty Day, Zooropa, and Discotheque in the same setlist ever in the future, I would die a happy U2 fan

So they debuted Landlady tonight .. as the first song in the encore before One.

Yeah, that's my guess too. And they just did that by replacing the Iris - Until The End Of The World segment with some Achtung Baby & Zooropa songs. I'm not expecting songs like Beautiful Day, I Will Follow or Elevation to be thrown out.
Tonight's Landlady was a nice surprise! (Well, they have been rehearsing it since the start of the European tour, but still...)

That's funny that they stuck it in the encore which is where I put it in my "What If" setlist earlier today. I knew they'd been rehearsing it and figured they'd soon slot it in somewhere but I couldn't think of a good spot for it in the main set so I pretty much dumped it in place of burnout snoozer "One." Now that the encore is 4 slow, mellow songs in a row, and watching this performance, I hate to say it, but that encore is now more than ever, pure Sonic Ambien. They really need to liven up that last 15 minutes of the show.

I love those brooding songs of theirs that never get a proper live treatment. See also: Velvet Dress, New York.

Bono wasn't live mic for that song.

Man oh man, I really hope they do not resurrect American Soul for that show. Leave that buried and dead where it belongs.

They have pro-shot video of every show. Maybe throw it in the bonus features. I hope it's never played again.

I really like it too... and... I also love Boots and Vertigo and Elevation... (Gasp!!)

I must not be a very sophisticated U2 fan. ;)

I liked it back when it was called Glastonbury, can't stand it now. But if they are wanting to release a home video of the current tour primarily plugging the last album and working under the self-imposed restrictions of no JT songs and no songs from the Paris home video, they should stick it back in the set for the last show even though it's pretty specific to the US.

While I'd rather not have it on there, I would understand if it was since the show should theoretically be representative of the tour and it (sadly) was a mainstay for the US portion of the tour.

And I say that as someone who may or may not even buy the DVD. ;)

I'll buy it just because the sound quality of the 2015 Blu-ray audio was the best to date to my ears.

    Looking forward to this!
