I'm sorry to hear that. Is this another Crest National disc?

 

I think it is. My other Jacintha title was pressed in Germany and is perfectly OK. This is a hybrid and is pressed in the USA.

 

I just e-mailed Groove Note about the problem, hope to get a reply.

 

Should I be upset that Tower just canceled my order, saying the disc is no longer available?

I found it odd that when I ordered it at Tower online (supposedly in stock and at half the price of other places), some other websites listed "Jacintha Is Her Name" as not yet released. Does anyone know when this SACD was actually released?

Perhaps Crest stopped manufacturing it and it's being re-released in a form that won't self destruct. Wouldn't that be nice?

I've actually only heard part of one track of this album, and that was at the Sony SACD demo at the Home Theater show in SF a few months ago. It was the most impressive sounding track they demo'd.
