Really? I wasn't listening to the radio then but I know all these well somehow. Guess some of them didn't 'cross over' to the States.

Probably the best year ever for number one hits. I voted for everything except the first 2 and the last one.

Wasn't Sugar Sugar Billboard's number one for the entire year ? It's among those I voted for and a very embarrassing revelation. :hide:

Some great songs: Grapevine, Israelites, Get Back, Ballad and Honky Tonk.

2525 goes under the "guilty pleasures" category.

OK, back on track, I voted -

Sarstedt (A guilty pleasure of mine)
    Gaye
    Beatles (with Preston)
    Beatles

I'm assuming the ones that are polling low didn't do very well in America. Staggering to think they missed out on Lily The Pink. I also thought that Sarstedt song would have been a hit everywhere.

Stones and the Beatles are neck and neck. It'll end in tears.

Surprised no one's made a apocalyptical movie with the title 2525.

Those are the three classics imo, love those three.
