Ultra 4K question

No clue. I know a few I worked on that were definitely 4K all the way, including some older Fox films (like The Egyptian). But in those cases, even when it's really a 4K scan, I'm unconvinced there's anywhere near 4K of detail in that image because it's a 60+ year-old anamorphic film with really crappy lenses.

I honestly don't care what K it is as long as the film looks good and it's entertaining. To me, nothing else matters. The K is just a number.

 

8K is on the horizon.
