Ultrasonic Pod for cleaning clothes and records?

OK, This may be a little off the wall. I have a VPI vinyl cleaner and have always been tempted to build an ultrasonic cleaner as well. Take a look at this portable ultrasonic clothes cleaner:

Anyway, it's not out yet, but should be soon. I am going got preorder one for travel cleaning, but I will definitely try it out for vinyl.

I cannot find the specs but for records the Ultrasonic frequency should be greater than 40 kHz.

 

Doubt that would work well. You can buy an ultrasonic cleaner and hack it into a record cleaner . . . and of course, it can be used for other ultrasonic cleaning applications as well, like jewelry.
