I mean you don't expect to see Ozzy and ONJ to even know each other, right?
I remember Ozzy's absolute outrage at some baptist church fundamentalists who disrupted Dio's funeral - I don't think that for all the early 80's rivalry they ever had a problem with each other.
Rush and The Runaways.
Well, something tells me this was a pretty logical picture and had some rather expected outcome later on!
The Runaways opened for Rush on several dates, so this picture isn't an odd pairing at all.
Neil Peart is definitely enjoying the occasion! Wonder who scored with whom that night?
Any photo (from 1975) with Bob Dylan, Sara, Paul, Linda, Gregg Allman, and Cher is unusual in my book. Arnie
Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips with Miley... I mean Justin Bieber.
Wayne is my favorite musician. I just wanted to share this hahaha.
Nick Lowe and Nile Rodgers
Wonder if Pete's thinking about Mick's Huge and Extremely Tasty ********
Well, ONJ had guitarist Andy Timmons, formerly of the glam-metal band Danger Danger, in her band so she did have a heavy metal connection.
Chris Cornell, Andrew Wood, and Ian Astbury.
Frank Zappa and Davy Jones
Pete Townshend and Davy Jones
John Lennon, Anne Murray, Harry Nilsson, Alice Cooper and Micky Dolenz

Must be within a year or two of The Ox's death.
It's kind of unclear from your thread title and opening post whether you want pictures of musicians you don't expect to see together, just any random pictures of musicians together, or pictures of musicians who must be your favorites together.
So.. here's Elvis promoting the Beatles, Paul with Neil Diamond, Paul and Linda with Dolly and Porter Wagoner, and John with Merv Griffin. A little bit of Beatles everything. I've got a zillion pictures but I don't have many pictures of Elvis giving a photo shout out to the Beatles. In fact, this might be my only one.
Why not. One's from Oz and the other IS Oz.
That one doesn't surprise me since Axl sang on Don's third solo album.
I think the real connection is Sharon who was (IIRC) an ELO manager in the late 70's and a long time friend of Livvy (which is pretty weird in itself).
