I cant remember if I posted this already. Alice Cooper, Harry Nillson and Marc Bolan at the Billion Dollar Babies sessions.
Always get the impression McCartney and Dylan wouldn't have much to talk about. Maybe they'd just reminisce about Allen Ginsberg?
Not Ian Curtis....this photo was taken in Wellington. There was a recent article in an online music forum about the band's first trip here & how they ended up at a fan's house for a party after the gig. This was taken that night. Plus another giveaway is the vintage poster on the wall of NZ noise merchants The Gordons.
In the liner notes of the Springsteen tribute set "One Step / Two Steps Back: The Songs Of Bruce Springsteen", Bowie comments : "I 've got this extraordinarily strange photograph of us all - I look like I'm made out of wax"
Hardly unexpected -- they recorded the One From The Heart soundtrack together. Here's an unexpected photo: Matt Sorum, Cozy Powell. Never worked together, and the only musician I can think of who worked with both of these drummers is Glenn Hughes.
OMG...it's driving me NUTS!!! "Unsuspecting" or "Unsuspected" are NOT the words you mean to use in this case!
There are other photographs from the same encounter with Paul clearly talking to Bob. Dylan is engaged with Sara in this one.
On the contrary, "Unsuspected" is the PERFECT descriptor for this goofball thread. One of my faves on this forum. It didn't take but 4 or 5 posts for this one to go off the rails. I'll bet 90% of the photos offered are anything but unexpected / unsuspected. It went from unsuspected photos of musicians to photos of musicians to photos of celebrities to photos of people to, uhhh, photos. Pretty sure there are a couple illustrations in there. All off-kilter. And yet, here we are at 122 pages. Now THAT'S unsuspected.
