Pictures of Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen really need to be identified? On this web site?
Not the best quality... Jeff Lynne, Bev Bevan and Michael Jackson, circa 1979. I think Michael could've done a smokin' cover of Shine a Little Love.
Friend - why is this an issue?! Across many generations of both performers featured here and viewers to this thread, the size of photo(s), color/quality, costumes/clothing, facial expressions, and on and on let's just assume that not everyone is going to know who is who. I know I certainly don't. If you're taking the time to post the photo, make the same effort to type the names. If you're at an absolute loss, but just love the photo for whatever reason and post it; maybe ask for help identifying those in the photo when posting.
While it annoys me to see photos without captions there are a group of artists that mostly everyone would know. The above three and the likes of Elvis,Beatles,Jagger,Elton and a few others
It's still a good idea to identify them because then they can be found in a search. This is particularly useful if you have a pic that you're thinking of posting and you want to see if it's already in the thread...which is 158 pages long.
Miki Berenyi from Lush has been posting some pics on her Twitter. Lush's drummer Chris Acland and Cozy Powell:
This is amazing! Where and when?? My guess is '84 or '85? Two of the great "bards!" Too bad they never recorded together Although Nick probably had some maturin' to go through at this time..... I mean to " sit down with Dylan"
Peter Gabriel is one of those guys who if I hadn't followed how his appearance has evolved since the 70's there's no way I would be able to identify him today.
