Linda Ronstadt backstage with the Eagles, Dan Fogelberg, Jackson Browne and Governor Jerry Brown, 1977.
And the Eagles were Linda's band. So it's just pretty much a picture of the very people you'd expect to be hanging out a Jerry Browne fundraiser in 70s California.
I have no idea of the photo’s source, but it does look like Duke-era Collins and Rutherford, which would also mean it’s Never For Ever-era for Kate Bush. Around 1980 possibly.
I got this from a Google search on the picture: Best Of British 1st October 1980: Melody Maker Pop Awards 1980. Best drummer, Phil Collins of Genesis, best female singer, Kate Bush, and best bass guitarist, Mike Rutherford of Genesis. (Photo by Colin Davey/Evening Standard/Getty Images)
I really don't understand Sonny and Cher...every picture I see they are dressed really outrageously. Should we slot them in to our who invented glam thread?

Also there were Jack Nicholson (who “just showed up to see what was happening,” according to Hollywood historian Marc Wanamaker) and Peter Fonda, who was arrested but later released after explaining he attended simply to witness and record the event During the Sunset Strip ‘hippie riots,’ young people and celebrities fought for the right to party
Yes, but that’s not Peter Tork in the photo. I’ll wager my 50 years of collecting The Monkees on that! Pretty sure it’s Keith Allison. Keith Allison - Google Search
