On this day in 1966 this picture was taken in that long walkway at Los Angeles International Airport just before Brian Wilson’s retreat from the world. Story goes that Marilyn Wilson had called everyone from their group of friends to join her at LAX to greet Brian (including The Turtles) when he landed, and then as a group they took this picture. She wanted to prove to Brian he was truly loved. But soon after Brian stopped speaking to everyone in this picture. I know many others know the full story and might be able to elaborate...
