Info courtesy of Progressive Ears. This is all we have so far I believe. Apparently the photo was posted in error and immediately removed:

Note the date in the post title, which corresponds with the Toronto show with Alan on the CTTE tour.

My biggest hope is this box includes stuff from earlier in the year with Bruford on the Fragile tour. But either way I'm pretty damn stoked. Hopefully it's all fresh mixes that remove some of the sludge from the Yessongs tracks.

This would be incredible. Finally, a new "Yes" release I can actually support.

Progeny: 7 Shows from '72 (with 7 new Roger Dean paintings, a series similar to Yessongs). Including Toronto and Ottawa.

These rare recordings were discovered in 1998 when the company that provided flight cases for 1970s-era Yes’ tours came across a previously unnoticed cache of reels, stored away unnoticed for years. Included were shows at the Academy of Music in New York on February 19 and 23, 1972; Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island on February 25, 1972.

If these are the shows rontoon mentioned, then I'm very excited indeed! Hopefully a nicely cleaned up, well mastered set.

What's the chance of a live version of America existing on these tapes?

Woah woah woah, pump the brakes everybody. That FB post was from two years ago and references Yes receiving those particular tapes back in 1998. All speculation linking the box to the 17-year-old tape discovery is just that, speculation. There's no official or unofficial word on exactly what shows the box will contain.

Has anyone dug up setlists for these shows? How static were they during this period? You'd think the hardcore Yes fans would be working overtime on this...

Evidently the news was leaked from Japan. Looks like Rhino picked this one up. Expect an official announcement shortly.

Also, that FB post shows that they only have some of the reels for each show.

Let's hope that we are going to get the (hinted) shows from both Spring 72 Fragile tour in the US (with Bruford) and Fall 72 CttE tour in Canada (with White). Otherwise the setlists will be exactly the same across all the discs.

As for the 7th show the best option would be a gig from either the Summer 72 tour in North America (with the freshly recruited Alan White) that could give us a bonus rendition of America, or the Winter 72 tour in Europe that would provide us with Starship Trooper.
