    I got hold of a used copy of this Garland title and I really like the mastering. The majority of the songs are from later era Heep (Abominog Head First) when they were sounding very much like the British hard rock of the time i.e. Saxon, Priest, Def Lep (pre Mutt!), etc. I find that there is a tendency, when this genre gets transferred to CD, towards harshness. This disc is very analog and smooth sounding. I like it much more than the latest round of Castle remasters. So anyway, another chapter of Steve's history worth picking up if you see it. .... steve c

    By the way, I wonder if there are any mastering skeletons in Steve's closet waiting to be discovered by zealous board members. You know it was late, Steve was tired and the only tape available was a fourth generation clone of a Dictaphone cassette.:)
