Using Patio Stones for speaker stands

    I'll post a pic in a day or two. In the meantime I just thought of an idea for those fans of cementious-type speaker stands.

    What about searching in garden shops and specialty dealers of architectural items for landscaping/ gardens etc? There is a possibility you might find something suitable like a column base for a large bird bath.

    I tried Lowes 2" thick by 10" diameter paving stones. Cost was $12 for what I needed. I had costed using 2" thick black granite with the edges rounded from stone mason. Cost would have been $300.

    Found out the Meadowlark Osprey with front firing transmission line didn't benefit from trying this out. So wife is using paving stones in vegetable garden.

    One of my female friends collects stuffies and was moving, so one day I find this guy latched on one of my stands. Bugs Bunny is on the other one. I think Bugs handles the high resonance spill better though. :D
