I sure hope not. After that season finale, I am eager for the new one to start.

If you listen to the WTF interview he did, you'll clearly see that he is nothing like the Kenny or Gamby.

I'll check it out when I renew my Now TV sub, thanks for the heads-up. I was a big fan of Eastbound & Down, bust-a-gut belly laugh funny at times, a rare tv comedy gem. McBride was great in the film The Foot Fist Way too.

Found a short interview with McBride online and he confirms what vertigone posted, 18 episodes and that's it. This originally was conceived as a feature film that was spread out over one school year. Then it was shelved for a few years and then resurrected as it is now. McBride didn't say when season 2 started but was firm in that is just 18 episodes.

Loved this series although I thought the first and last episodes were a bit harsh and over-the-top. Hopefully Goggins get casted in another big series where he plays a character as memorable as in the The Shield and Justified.

Was going to post "it is a fun but slight show" - you said it first

I thought it took a few episodes to get good but I enjoyed it.

Just now gave this show a shot, and I'm loving it. I'm four episodes in. The field trip episode was great. I get that not everyone can take Danny McBride, but I really like him and its fun seeing Goggins in completely different role from what he did on "Justified". Glad there will be at least another season.

Great first episode! When Gamby walked into the school assembly to "Tears In Heaven", I was laughing so hard my eyes watered.

Goggins is in my top 5 of actors, Season 1 had its moments but Goggins need to be the lead not the support. Didnt realize there was a s2

This show is just awful. I liked the first season but the two vice principals are the most unlikeable characters on TV...it's not even funny. Just two unlikeable idiots.

Well...I love this show, but then again I like my fictional television characters to be as unlikeable as possible. Makes me feel better as a person, because I have low self esteem and need TV to fill up my soul. /s

Anyone else love Ms. Abbott - the crazy teacher with a thing for Gamby? I always get a kick out of her and how Gamby gets so off-put by her flirtations. I think she's a riot.

    Love this show.

McBride is from GA, Goggins from AL - they so perfectly spoof this region of the country which is one of the reasons I find it so funny. If you've lived it, you know it.

I don't really care WHO the shooter is, but my two dark horse candidates are:

    1) Dayshaun the cook
    2) Billy Murray's retired principal from the first episode, who comes back to shoot Gamby.

Really, though, I don't know and don't care if it ever solved.
