How come sellers never seem to use them anymore? When I sold on there <it's been a few years, though> I used them on my listings, and when I'm browsing I find them very useful to see what the level of interest is in the item I'm watching. It used to be a common practice to use them, but I never see them anymore it seems. Anyone have any idea why?

From a sellers view both the number of watchers and views are included in the sellers summary negating the need for a counter. I don't see this info available to buyers; I agree it is a useful tool. I have returned to selling on eBay after an almost 10 year abscence and the changes that have been made are staggering.

I'm going to be returning myself after selling on Amazon for the last 10 years or so. The counter is still available and free when you create a for sale listing, but hardly anyone uses them. I thought it might be that the number of "hits" was so miniscule sellers didn't want potential buyers to see it or something.....

The watch counter on eBay listings is good for reflecting how many other people have and want to sell the same thing you are selling, and are waiting to see what you get for it.
