i'm extremely excited about the two Poco albums and the Johnnie Taylor 2-fer in particular.

the Quads of Poco's "Seven" & "Cantamos" are two of the very best Rock Quad mixes i've yet to hear.
several tracks are demo worthy surround sound material imho, including "Rocky Mountain Breakdown" and "Sagebrush Serenade" and I absolutely cannot wait to hear Johnnie Taylor's "Eargasm" in discrete surround - at last! - easily one of my most played Quads of the last few years' fiddling about with old SQ records etc. DV, you've done it again, instant purchase.

over the moon about the poco but would have been out of the galaxy if the angie was in surround too.
"angel of the night" is one of music's blissful moments. vocalion is keeping the dream alive.

Nothing excites me here, but I’m glad to see someone have a go at quad and 5.1.

Just got my order in for the Deodato. Looks like about $22.23 for tracked mail. I have had reel-to-reels of these 2 albums in the past. Still have the live one.

If only we could get the quad CRAZY EYES--imagine the improvement Vocalion would make with SACD over the old DTS disc...

I missed both Poco albums back then (drenched in Southern Rock at the time before discovering Legend in 1979), so I'm listening to both via You Tube, and reading on Wiki.
The guests on Seven may be enough to convince me.
I mean Jim Messina on mandolin...I told Jim Messina on Facebook, years ago, how I loved his mandolin playing, and he actually responded !
    Burton Cummings on keyboards !

Then in August, we get the SHM CD of Legend with new 2018 mastering.

"Pickin' Up The Pieces" is my favorite album by them. The Sony version has a bonus track not on the Audio Fidelity. Do you have the Iconnoclassic's version of "From The Inside"? Sounds really nice.

FROM THE INSIDE was my first entry into the world of Poco--bought it because it had the incredible "Bad Weather" and that was that...
