    Wow sad news. I first heard him in the 80's as the voice of WIMZ in Knoxville. Always loved his voice over work. Finally found out his name around 200 when one of the radio stations I was working for used him as the voice of the station. RIP.

    Well, he could have that Don LaFontaine sound when it was called for, but he was much more versatile than that, IMO.

    Just gutted to hear this.
    Chris was a good friend that I, sadly, lost touch with over the last few years. We first met when he was starting out in the business. Chris'd come into Rainbow Records where I worked to shop and shoot the breeze about records. Over the years we became sometime drinking buddies. Helped me out in times of trouble and always supported my crappy band.
    Chris and his late wife Melissa were good people who deserved a long and happy life together with their son Christopher.
    Sadly, not to be.
    Just a damn shame.
