if the Zombies were stronger, faster and more aggressive the show would have lasted a few weeks...

I thought the same exact thing. I actually thought I must have missed an episode or something like that. I realize the implied nature of what I missed, but I still went to the Walking Dead wiki to ensure that I didn't miss something explaining the obvious.

In spite of the fact that a friend of mine was in this episode (the female cop they kidnap), I found it deadly dull. Once again, it's clear how they're padding out an 8 episode season to 16. Zzzzzzzzzz

that's cool...I'll bet she had a blast on the set! we wish they padded it out to 32...we love the show. IMO, It entertains regardless of all the bitching and moaning.

In my opinion, other than the first season this one is probably the least padded one yet. We haven't wasted a lot of time in the church or in the hospital, and major plot revelations are resolved in 2-3 episodes. I would be very surprised if the hospital continues to be a factor after tomorrow night, which will leave the rest of this season wide open.

The zombies are the least of their problems. I don't really want them to make the zombies more interesting, but I'm all for making their bigger problems more interesting. That being said, I like the hospital story line because I have no idea where it is going, and will only be disappointed if it does not land well.

Word is that there will be at least one main cast death tomorrow night. My odds are on Beth and/or Carol. Possibly Tyreese.

I wouldn't miss Beth or Tyreese, but Carol would be a big loss.

I don't want to know any details about it or what happens if it was...but curious...was the hospital in the comics or is this story arc all new?

A shame to see that character go. I guess it was time to shake things up.

Mid-season finale...yeah, someone was going to go, especially after the fairly dull stuff that's gone on this season.

As soon as Maggie found out where Beth was it looked pretty obvious that one of those two was going to be the roadkill, and I picked Beth as she's been pretty expendable for a while.

Well, that's a real drag. It was also such an awkward way for Beth to go out. I know there are a lot of Beth haters out there, but I'm not one of them. Beth, you were a bright spot in an otherwise relentlessly dark show, and you will be missed.

That was honestly the lamest episode so far. Didn't buy it one bit. The curse of notes by AMC brass? Whatever it was, I am majorly disappointed. This show is getting a little long in the tooth.

Used to be we had ONE finale per season, and now we have two(I believe that AMC/Sony constructed it). So now, we can pretty much plug in the formula of losing some beloved character at least twice per season. Yawn.

P.S. I know that it hasn't always happened that way, but still.....
