Warner to release "A Christmas Carol"(1938) & "Christmas In Connecticut"(1945) Nov. 11th on blu-ray

    These vintage holiday classics have been announced at blu-ray.com and at Warner Home Video's website...
    "A Christmas Carol"(1938)is the MGM-produced version with Reginald Owen(Adm. Boom in "Mary Poppins")as the title character, also starring Gene Lockhart & Ann Rutherford.
    "Christmas In Connecticut"(1945)stars Barbara Stanwyck("Double Indemnity"), Dennis Morgan, Sidney Greenstreet("Casablanca") & Reginald Gardiner.
    No MSRP is listed as yet, but I expect both titles to be about $19.98 undiscounted...will bump this thread as soon as Amazon.com has pre-order pages online... :cheers::bigeek:

    Both titles are now available for pre-order at Amazon...MSRP is $19.98 and both are being discounted to $13.99...:thumbsup:
