Oasis never had the same appeal on Americans as they had on Brits.
They had a much less appeal on Americans. That's a fact.

Personally I don't mind them, I like some of their tunes, but I never got why Oasis were alway held in pretty high regard in the UK.

Noel's working on erasing and re-recording all of Liam's vocals for the definitive box set, hopefully he'll have it ready for an Xmas 2018 release.

Can we all agree that Oasis is the most polarizing band of 1994-1996?

That's probably true, especially in the U.K.

Liam Gallacher's solo album should do well. I'm getting white vinyl version.

Biggest band in the world? Eh. Maybe in their heads. Biggest in my world? Definitely.

No. The Spice Girls were bigger than Oasis in the 1990s.

No chance of reforming says Noel Gallagher ( latest interview). Has no inclination to listen to his brothers As You Were album.

Huh. Maybe that's why the brothers used to call him (privately) 'Ravi Shanker'. Rhymes with...

Always thought GH was a tad unkind as Oasis revitalized Wonderwall soundtrack at least.

Paul McCartney (admirer)Suggested the brothers make up and put out a great record NG said we'll get back together if Paul McCartney write us a number one.

    Ringo' not a fan.

That just leaves Yoko, big LG fan.

Oasis, as a band, were not much better.

Not surprised really. If I were to simplify the situation...at one point Noel needed his brother and as a result put up with the annoyances, which at first probably weren't that annoying in the grand scheme of things. Then he realised he didn't need his brother anymore and the annoyances were no longer worth putting up with. Noel got control, he liked it and he's not giving it up.

Well for the time being Liam's getting the crowd sympathy. Getting a new following it seems.
