Now it's time for Ringo Rama to say goodnight, and this is the one I have been saddest to see go so far. I'd put this one among my three favorite Ringo releases, and it got a lot more spins in the last 8 years than the two Ive been spinning since the 70s. Plus I have a signed copy. It's also got a sweet dvd with it in some editions, including footage of them recording most of the tracks on the disc. Alas. Here's the order the albums have been voted off so far: 1-2: tie: . Ringo the IVth (1977) - 11 votes . Bad Boy (1978) - 11 votes 3. I Wanna Be Santa Claus 4. Y Not 5. Liverpool 8 6-8: 3 way tie: . Sentimental Journey . Rotogravure . Stop and Smell the Roses 9. Old Wave 10. Choose Love 11. Ringo Rama Discussion question: what directions would you like to see Ringo take with future releases? Follow the overtly Beatlesque and Beatle referencing approach he has been pursuing since Time Takes Time? Turning towards more modern sounds (e.g., grunge/rap/dance)? Another standards or country album? Any thoughts on other guests you'd like to see him work with (since virtually all his albums feature big name guests) or producers you'd like to see him work with would be relevant here too.
