    Steve,
Can you say any confirmation on anything coming soon from DCC as this whole board is just tweaking for something new and is really tired of being screwed over by both ebay and record stores?
Hope you enjoyed you're vacation. Do anything interesting? :D

    Hi Dave,

We had a good time on vacation, thanks. Just kicked back somewhere and watched the waves come in and out, took some Leica snaps and let our brains recharge...Now, I have over two thousand e-mails to wade through! Sheesh.

Anyway, I have a list of 20 Gold and vinyl titles to be repressed, but I don't want to post it because I don't want to jinx it.

The company is seeing some new big money come in from an unexpected (that's an understatement) source, but after 9/11, the entire music industry is hurting, and it's taking way longer that we had expected.

It's frustrating for us, but at least there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks to Patrick Moss, Holy Zoo and a few others for the nice care packages! I'll listen to everything as I'm hitting the delete button on my computer!

    Thanks Steve
I have caught a few of your photos (my wife has downloaded them for our screen savers). Excellent work by the way. I had no idea that are a multi talented guy.
I see that you have been to my home before by your pictures.
    Take care :)

I love it. No mention of CD, SACD or DVD-A, just gold! Put us out of our misery Steve. :D

Glad to hear the vinyl will be repressed too. Crossing my fingers about your funding going through. . .

Glad to have you back Steve, and glad to hear about the 20 titles to be repressed. I won't speak for everyone here, but I'm sure most of us would rather spend our money for DCC titles with DCC rather than those vultures than sell on Ebay. As for "certain" online audiophile stores that claim DCC is gone, from me to you: Go **** Yourselves and your inflated prices ! DCC in 2002 all the way !

God Bless - ED In NY :)

Almost know the feeling. Oh man, deadly bummer. :o

    Far-out!

This sounds like more of intriguing puzzle than the score of Au discs. Is the unlikely source deaf, broke or under rubble? :p

CHOO! CHOO! (my version of break a leg)

If I say it, hopefully it'll never happen. ;)

  7. Hey Steve! I'm going to be at the Las Vegas CES this coming January and was wondering if you're planning to put in a sale booth at the Alexis Park Hotel "flea market" as usual for DCC products. If so, I'm definitely THERE! Hope to see you and Sal and the others! ;) :D

OK, Luke, Steve - gimmie the details! The Las Vegas "CES" this coming January is...???

What is the CES? When in January?

The wife and I may take a short trip to Vegas soon. If we can time it right, it's CD / Vinyl shopping time!

Do you know if Classic Records will be there? Love to get my hands on the I Robot DVD and some Zep!

    Woooo -hoooo!!!!!
    :D :D :D :D :D :D

Take this with a grain of salt, however, as I am uninformed.

How delightfully quaint. Yes, CES is the annual pilgramage to Vegas to know what's hot & what's not in hurriedly assembled poorly accoustic rooms. Is there some equiment you always wanted to hear but you don't have a dealer near you? Well, this mayn't be under the best conditions (it'd sound better in your home) but odds are that it's there & fired up. However, since you seem like a novice, you may fall in love with equipment that you never heard of (may want to bring a notepad). So, I'd burn a test CDR with some tracks of which you are extremely knowledgable & that challenge systems. Then, find some comfortable shoes & dig out the treadmill 'cause you're in training. Sure Mart! Ya gotta have fun in life, you know? And a road trip is always great fun! And to me, music is fun, a pleasure, to be enjoyed.... if you get too serious, it sounds like work!

New and weird equipment, ideas, concepts, software I've never seen before - nay, I've never knew existed (like Wilkinson Tri Cycle that I found in Northampton MA) gets me going!

Thanks for the words of advice! Cheers! :D

    Gary,
CES is a Sell-a-ton for electronics company. Something like a car show where you sometime get to talk to the engineers. You see the new equipment you want to buy and the stuff that most can't afford. You can gather a lot of information, knowledge and fun, talking to the people that make the equipment and music you buy and use.

I'll be there, hope to see you there. Maybe Steve knows of some forums we can get in on?
    Maybe Breakfast?
