Western Electric Monoblock Amplifier

I could be mistaken but I believe they were wound the same way even back in the tube era, possibly even on the same machine. I'll make a point of finding out for certain if I ever take the tour again. I also believe machine winding was found to provide better results than when done by hand with better consistency and each transformer is tested individually.

As to PC board connections... one of many reasons that differentiates the old from the new.
