Not to be too cynical, but my initial reaction is "meh."

The original film was really lightning in a bottle, mostly because it was a bunch of then-relatively unknown comedians being absolutely ridiculous for an hour and a half. I didn't love the first Netflix reboot because it was basically an extended rehash, and this feels like even more of a empty cash grab (and where's Bradley Cooper??).

Of course they couldn't recapture the magic of the original, but there were enough laughs in the reboot that I'm excited to see another go-around.

Yeah, they're not as wet and hot as they used to be. (But then, who is?)

I'm still looking forward to this. The movie was a homerun, and First Day of Camp didn't let me down at all.

I agree with you except for the 'lightning in a bottle' attribution for the original, which I only saw at the time the Netflix reboot was released. I didn't find the original, nor the reboot, funny in the least. In fact, I found them both to be cringeworthy. Not gonna bother with this.

Just Netflix. Like First Day of Camp, it's an eight-episode miniseries.

Hmmm, just as the first one came at the perfect time for 80s nostalgia, so does this at the perfect time for 90s nostalgia.

Liked the movie a whole lot, but the series left me pretty cold. Not sure where this one is going to fall in.

I've already finished this. I don't know if I should be proud or ashamed.

Just finished it and thought it was great, like the previous series. Of course both can't touch the movie, but still very funny and entertaining.

I watched it. I thought it was pretty bad. In parts, embarrassingly so.

For those that are asking, Bradley Cooper had "scheduling issues" and didn't return. He was replaced by Adam Scott.

  16. I've only seen about half of the first one, but that was enough to make me wonder what all the fuss was about. If it didn't have several cast members who went on to better things, I doubt it would get paid much mind today.

It already had a cult following by 2002, before most of the cast became famous. That's when I first saw it and immediately bought the DVD.

I saw the movie first and thought it was generally pretty meh. I then watched the "First Day of Camp" and was pretty aghast at how terrible it was (yes, I'm a glutton for punishment), but this last (and hopefully final) installment I could definitely feel the brain cells dying with each scene. Really bad.
