What Age Were You At Your First Live Gig?

Was 8 when my parents took me to a Anne Murray concert. Still remember some of it surprisingly.

 

18 I saw the Beach Boys.

 

I was 10 years old when I saw Adam and the Ants in early 1982.

 

I was 6 when I saw The Monkees in 1987. I had a blast!

 

Lucky he didn't eat you!

 

I was 14 at my first concert, which was Status Quo in early 2005.

 

9 for the Love Gun tour in '77. Blew my mind.

 

I was 15. Lynyrd Skynyrd in Knoxville Tennessee May 1977.

I often think not one of the hundreds of shows since have been quite as good. Well, maybe Kate Bush, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan or the Stooges.

4. My parents took me to see Chicago in 1971...I distinctly remember running up the aisle wanting to get out of there. I also remember that awful Carnegie Hall box sitting on our coffee table for years

 

Ten or eleven. Got taken to see Focus at the Rainbow Theatre, London.

 

17 in 1968

12 years. I saw Iron Maiden with a friend. It was in 1983. His dad drove us there,and waited outside the Concerthall.

 

5 - The Kingston Trio - 1962 - met them and got an autograph (long gone) before the show.

 

Maybe I was a late starter, but I consider my first real concert to be Jefferson Starship.
Had to research a little, but I'm guessing it was 8/14/1975, Pine Knob in MI, and I would have been 16. This was on the heels of Red Octopus being released.
Drank beer, enjoyed the show, and puked on the side of my buddy's Nova on the ride home.
My collection of concert tickets got swiped some time ago.
