Really, pretty much anything from Ronnie Lane, but this one is a particular favorite.

Any music I really like helps lift my mood..always. There have also been a few through the years that were so bad they have put me into a state of depression, unfortunately. :shake:

Anything by Joy Division usually helps...

As much as I love Joy Division, their music puts in a depressive state.

An album that has since become my all time favourite album:

If you've heard all of Side 2: "The Ninth Wave" you'd know why.

I don't think I ever was in serious depression or anything but if I'm in a bad mood I most likely won't be playing upbeat music (I know, I know, I'm a weird guy :D). I usually will reach out for something like this instead:

Hmm... many of the albums mentioned above seem to be geared at pulling you out of a depression.
I tend to listen to stuff that I can wallow in.

Roger Waters - Amused to Death
Van Der Graaf Generator - Still Life
    Genesis - Calling All Stations
    Iron Maiden - The X-Factor

The Verve's Urban Hymns was the soundtrack to my Junior year of High School which was a bit of a dark period.

Bob Marley. Pick an album, late period works best. The man felt what he sang more, perhaps, than any other musician I know
