Thank you so much everyone for posting. I've discovered a lot of great music from this thread. Now it's time for me to give back.

Here is a most beautiful song, and this is a great version. It is certainly worth taking the time to listen to this one.

I am a sucker for live-especially acoustic-versions of my favorite songs. And being a huge film fan, soundtrack tunes stay with me a long time. So, in no particular order except the last one, here goes:
    Barton Hollow-Civil Wars

    Wasted Time-the Eagles

    Tears In Heaven-Eric Clapton

    Why-Anne Lennox

    The Mummer’s Dance-Lorena McKennit

    Even In The Quietest Moments-Supertramp

    Silent Lucidity-Queensryche

    Who Wants to Live Forever-Queen

    Drawn To The Rhythm-Sarah McLachlan

    Fragile-Sting

Down In A Hole-Alice In Chains (Unplugged)

    Wicked Game-Chris Isaak

    Please-U2

    Somewhere Over The Rainbow-Israel Kamakawiwoʻole

Someone To Watch Over Me-Jean Louisa Kelly (Mr Holland’s Opus)

Gold-Interference-(Once Soundtrack) (and the Steve Kazee/Cast versions from the stage production)

Last Night Of The World-Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon)

    Going Home-Mark Knopfler-(Local Hero Soundtrack)

    On Every Street-Mark Knopfler

    Back In Your Arms-Bruce Springsteen

    #1-Telegraph Road-Dire Straits-the Alchemy album

Artists I listen to a lot:

Stevie Wonder - Too shy to say. Golden lady.
Cat Stevens - How can I tell you? Sweet scarlet.
Steve Hackett - The lovers. Hoping love will last.
Fleetwood Mac - Beautiful child. Only over you.
The Beach Boys - Full Sail. Love surrounds me.
Neil Young - Lotta love. Wrecking ball.
Simon and Garfunkel - The only living boy in New York. So long, Frank Lloyd Wright.

Me too, and there are so many great versions of that Harold Arlen composed standard. Still love Judy Garland's version of course, but for a totally different emotional and musical take, check out Jerry Lee Lewis's 1980 version from his Killer Country album, with some phenomenal piano licks as well!
