In many groups that have managed to endure long periods of time, a core group of founders usually remains intact while other positions may turn over quite a bit. What are some good examples of positions within groups that are notoriously prone to turnover? The only caveat is that examples of this phenomenon o should only include full band members, and not sidemen who are not considered permanent members.

To get things going, here's a few I can think of:

Vocalist, Deep Purple: Although only four different men have sung for this group, there have been 6 different terms of someone serving as lead vocalist, including three by Ian Gillan.

Drummer, Black Sabbath: 8 different drummers have been band members, not including Brad Wilk. These 8 guys have served 19(!) terms, due to some drummers leaving then returning.

Drummer, the Cult: 11 drummers have played with this group. However, I'm suspicious that this is really a "sideman" position at this point.

So, what are some other examples of revolving doors in groups?

I'll add to the above by stating that if a group has a separate Wikipedia page to list all its members, the group probably suffers from revolving door syndrome.

I was thinking of both the Fall and Guided by Voices when I was making the OP. In both cases, the frontman eventually emerged as the band boss, diminishing the group concept, so I'm not sure how to handle those.
