Too many to list, but I'd have to say the one album I played more than any other from that year was Agents Of Fortune. Something about it just hooked me in.

How on earth did I forget the magnificent first two Ramones LPs?!

    and Jailbreak?

In the UK 1975 & 1976 are often thought of as being complacent and mediocre years for music, that punk was a reaction against. When I start thinking what music came out in those years, yes some of the big rock acts were jaded by then, but there were superb albums being made if you look elsewhere.

Great that you included The Gladiators too. I was hoping I wouldn't be the only one! There were a lot of excellent roots reggae albums in 1976 and the production as well recording quality was of a high standard on them all too.

I was not alive in 1976, but looking at this list I can see lots of things I like.

I can also see that were I a youth at this time, there would have been a lot of dross, so would have thoroughly welcomed punk in the next year.
