    Maybe not, indeed! It strikes me that a lot of the guys on some of these covers would look fairly contemporary if you gave them a haircut (or at least styled away the Prince Valiant/Brian Jones-esque 'dos).

    Country Joe & Fish - I Feel Like I'm Fixin To Die is the premeir cover for Hippie attire in the late 60s...

    I grew up in San Francisco during this era & attire as this was not uncommon in the Haight
