The Verizon ad with the guy rapping to the tune of Thrift Shop.
How about the one from Comcast - Grandparents read granddaughters fb post about spending Christmas in Hell (Grandma's house). They then go out and call Comcast and order the works with wifi. When the granddaugter and her family arrive, she finds her grandparents are now hip. I find it disgusting!
Yeah, that one sends a whole bunch of wrong messages.
Basically that the only way grandkids will tolerate hanging with their grandparents is if there are ample technological solutions that allow them to completely ignore them.
And they're wearing spotless work boots in the dirt and mud.
Sally Struthers' quavering tearful voice begging you to feed children out of the country where the money can't be traced. Or the sweaty, fat guy laying the guilt complex on you doing the same thing.
Some car ad where a bratty little bastard catches his parents writing a letter to Santa...asks "WHAT'S GOING ON???" like he owns the place and then barges in to tear the letter from his mother's hand to read it. He finds it is a request for a new car. He then demands "...AND A PUPPY!!!!!"
What I would do to that S.O.B. if he was my kid!!!!!!
This thread seems to have taken a turn for the worst. Shutting it down for the moment.
