For me the 1970s and the 1990’s.

I think it's this decade, if only because in this one and the last one I've had the money to pay for myself to go to the movies. I had a paper route in the late 90s but at that time in my life, I preferred to walk 5 minutes up the road to rent videos to walking for 30minutes to the cinema which come to think of it opened up a few years later.

This decade for me. Specifically 2017 - 2018. Thanks to Movie Pass, I literally saw more movies in the theater that year and a half than any other decade of my life.

Take that out of the equation, probably the 90s.

In the late 90's I lived within walking distance of a multiplex which showed both big hits and indies, so I saw everything from Twister to Trainspotting.

80s and 90s. In the 2000s, it slowed down. By 2010, I barely went at all. I haven’t been to the theater in a few years. I can’t remember what the last film I saw was. It was either “The Dark Knight Rises” or the last Harry Potter film.

Maybe the nineties has the edge I went to the cinema twice a week, in the seventies once a week ..but sometimes double features.

This century once a month usually a big action type film. Not so many cult type movies now.

When thing I preferred in the nineties mid week that is, the cinemas were empty. Jump cut 25 years later. Very crowded, global population increase no doubt.

The 90s. Our local cinema closed in 2000 and I seldom visited any next near film theaters after that.

I'm guessing the 90's. Went a lot in the 80's as well, but I got my drivers license in 1985 so that's 1/2 a decade without a car so it must be the 90's.

18 certificate films were popular in the 1970s, also Kung fu movies.

Enjoyed the 1960's mainly early on for Disney, James Bond, Beatles films. Ironically I've come full circle as I'm going to Disney related films again 2019 with MCU movies. :D

A mall opened up near my house and I could ride my bike in a few minutes to the (1 screen) theater.
It quickly became common knowledge that they didn't card anyone for R movies, especially during the sparsely attended Wednesday matinee
So I regularly went and caught several double features.
MASH, Patton, Ryan's Daughter, Klute, Summer of 42, American Graffiti, Tommy, Prime Cut, Shaft, etc

When I was a teenager, which was roughly from about 1988-1994. Also, when tickets were only $4.25 you could be less selective about what you saw.

After that I'd go far less. I remember seeing only "Austin Powers" and "Copland" in the theater in 1997 and thinking afterwards it was odd that I had gone so little that year.

Movie pass is a great deal. Sadly I don't think the quality of the film's they make today aren't as good. Sure those big CGI flicks MCU are amazing. But art house cult films seems to have dissapeared.

Sixties and seventies. These days I tend to wait for the Blu-ray release rather than go to the cinema. I have friends around for a film night every couple of weeks and it's amazing how many films I have that I realise I originally saw at the cinema from my youth (mainly sixties).
