My garage setup is a HK AVR240, Pioneer DV578A, a pair of JBL100 and a pair of Pioneer HPM60's, along with a Technics turntable. I have lots of 5.1 channel , quad, and dvda dloads. Most all work fine with this setup. I wanted to use a Denon AVR1912 instead of the Harman Karden. I had an old Sony BDP BX59 bluray
that was supposed to play sacd's and dvda's-which it doesn't play most or it plays in 2 channel stereo. Is there a way to connect both receivers to a switch that would have the speakers connected? Or is there a DVDA/SACD player that works thru HDMI to play my 5.1 recordings? Or is there a modern receiver that ha s 5.1 analog inputs along with hdmi inputs that isn'y very expensive? I like the Denon because I thought I could eliminate cords with HDMI-plus the networking capabilities.

Oppo’s do this very nicely, you’d have to go used though as they are out of business. The Sony ubp-x800 plays all the formats you want too.
