I have loved Muddy Waters Hootchie Cootchie Man from the first time I heard it...but one thing has always alluded me in the lyrics. What a Johnny Concheroo? Anyone know?

Or to tkae it step further, I believe it's "John The Conquorer Root," a root used in Voodoo spells.

 

IIRC.....John the Conqueroo is the slang term. Damn, my Bill Wyman Blues book isn't here........it's in there for sure!
