As an aside, Dylan's 1966 Live Recordings thread has just received an infusion, some excellent posts, check it out:
Bob Dylan: The 1966 Live Recordings - Sony 36-CD box-set - November 11
Now I'll put the headphones on and listen to those shows that were just reviewed in the thread.
..and it's very, very good..
Led Zeppelin I companion disc -Live in Paris`69
Paul Weller - "At The BBC" (rec. 1990-2008)
Four-disc boxset with radio sessions covering 1992-2008 period on first two CDs and live recordings spanning between 1991 and 1998 taking up the rest of space. From the early 90s acid-jazz reprisal of The Style Council repertoire and classic soul chestnuts to the later (power)full jam-mod(e) rocking, Weller delivers in spades.
74 songs, more than four and a half hour of pure unadulterated music joy.
That new Gary Clark, Jr. live CD.....man, this is stellar stuff.
Frank Zappa - Road Tapes, Vol. 2
Was the Sun City show recorded through soundboard or is that just an audience recording?
Last live album I listened to was Giles Martin's remix of The Beatles Live at the Hollywood Bowl yesterday.
The Who Live at the Isle of Wight 1970.
Waiting For Columbus--Little Feat
soundboard. it leaked a few years back. needs a rerip though. it is lossy and thanks to a malfunctioning soundcard part 2 (which surfaced a few years after Part 1 did, also lossy) has several little skips. It's better than nothing, but a lossless retransfer of both would be great, especially with the already quite good sound quality.
