I listened to Radiohead's I Might Be Wrong live EP today and Certifiable by The Police about a week ago.
Loose Fur - live show #2 December 2002. A mixing desk recording of one of only three shows that Loose Fur played (one in 2000, two in 2002). The group comprised of two members of Wilco (Jeff Tweedy and Glenn Kotche) and Jim O'Rourke. The live version of "The Chelsea Walls Theme" is a glorious ten-minute plus guitar skronk epic. The audience reaction is mostly euphoric, though there's a fair chunk of bemused old-school Wilco fans who were probably expecting to hear "Casino Queen" played; instead they get Loose Fur material and a lovely Bil Fay cover. It would have been great if they'd supported 2006's Born Again In The USA, but given O'Rourke had quit Sonic Youth and was by this point living in Japan it would have been logistically challenging.
Maybe I lower my standards a bit when I enjoy the performances (i.e. early King Crimson live releases), but this one sounds pretty good to my ears, better than something like Gong est Mort, IMO. Worth grabbing, if you can find it.
Renaissance at the Academy of Music,1974, a concert that I attended & can hear myself in the crowd at the end of each song.
