Simple and beautiful. It's like a painting.

I'll vote for the entire "Hunky Dory" album, side one or side two.

    Ah, gee, just one?

Well, forced into a corner, I'll have to go with the Sound + Vision version of Rebel Rebel. The album version is terrific, but to these ears, the alternate version on the box is even better....

Close to the top spot is Always Crashing in the Same Car, Golden Years, I Have Not Been to Oxford Town, Ziggy Stardust, TVC 15, Drive-In Saturday, and especially Heroes, Station to Station, and the great Panic in Detroit.

    Shalom, y'all!

    For me it's a toss-up between:

    Life on Mars?
    Sound and Vision
Always Crashing in the Same Car
    Be My Wife
    Heroes
    Boys Keep Swinging

    (I like Low a lot.)

    One song? ONE SONG?!?!

    (Calming down).

If I had to pick one: "Teenage Wildlife."

    Then "Word on a Wing."

    Then "Fantastic Voyage."

    Then all the others.

Drive in Saturday - the chorus of this song has always given more the chills though I have no idea what he's going on about...

John, I'm Only Dancing as well.

"Space Oddity" Hands Down. Maybe because that was the first Bowie song that I was introduced to back in the early 70's .

So many great ones (one of my favorite artists): Space Oddity, Life on Mars, Station to Station, TVC15, Aladdin Sane, Jean Genie, Ashes to Ashes, Heroes, Sound and Vision, Moonage Daydream, Starman.....

    I'll go with Aladdin Sane

Right on, dude. It's like a British pastoral by way of late-1970's Berlin. If that makes any sense. My other faves are Moonage Daydream and Drive-In Saturday (another evocative song...). Or maybe just the whole Ziggy album except It Ain't Easy.

Wow, as has been said many times, Bowie has so many great songs that to pick one would show direspect to the rest of his work.
I think Bowie is at his best when he sings with unabashed emotion, so I would pick "Heroes".

    I, I can remember (I remember)
Standing, by the wall (by the wall)
And the guns, shot above our heads (over our heads)
And we kissed, as though nothing could fall (nothing could fall)
And the shame, was on the other side
Oh we can beat them, for ever and ever
Then we could be Heroes, just for one day

"Stay" is one that I consistently play. A disco song that never sounds dated.

There can be no "one" favorite Bowie song. It really depends on what mood I'm in. Some other worthy contenders:

    Panic In Detroit
    Repetition
    The Width Of A Circle
the entire second side of Heroes
