Oo, yeah! I'm going to press "Play" on that.

EDIT: which indeed I did. I have been meaning to investigate King Crimson more deeply this Fall, but haven't begun yet aside from listening to Red and Starless once each. It's good to be reminded.

This is OK, I never got into Animal Collective (that's who Panda Bear is, right?) but I can deal with this.

Yeah, Avey and Panda are two of the members of Animal Collective, this album came out before they added the other two guys. I'm surprised you enjoy this more than their other stuff, because it's a bit of a polarizing track.

Well, I haven't listened to enough to have a considered judgment, it just usually kind of washes over me. But that's the kind of thing that's painless to have on, I would have to pay attention to it a few times to really give my verdict.

If you ever want to dive in a bit more, I'd suggest you either listen to that whole album or check out Strawberry Jam if you want something poppier and a bit less lo-fi :)

Thanks, I'll sample some of that tonight, and report back if I have anything worth reporting. I suspect, though, that I do not want something poppier.

Here is a song I thought I was cooling on but I put it on tonight and it shot to the top of my personal charts again:

More recent Fall does not get much love on this site, but I love this album.
