My favorite episode is A Stop At Willoughby. Some days I can relate to the protagonist in a very disturbing way.

Hard to pick a favorite, but the one that freaked me out as a kid was "Stopover in a Quiet Town."

There are so many favorites to choose from, but The Midnight Sun is a favorite:

Many favorites, but the one that always comes to mind first is the fourth season's "On Thursday, We Leave For Home." When I saw that one first run as a teenager, it had a great impact on me, and because it's one of the hour episodes, it doesn't get run very much on TV. The runner-up is another fourth-season episode, "Death Ship".

So many of the episodes are great, that it's truly hard to pick one or two above the others, but those two rank up there for me.

I like the one where the guy wakes up and he's the same but everyone else is different. :)

I'm actually currently making my way through the series for the first time--midway into season 3 so far. I've been keeping a top 10 list that of course is constantly adjusted. Here's where it stands as of now:
    1. Deaths-Head Revisited
    2. Five Characters in Search of an Exit
    3. The Monsters are Due on Maple Street
    4. Mr. Bevis
    5. A Game of Pool (although I like the original, unfilmed ending better)
    6. A Penny for Your Thoughts
    7. Escape Clause
    8. Walking Distance
    9. Shadow Play
    10. The Grave

... and the glasses break. This one has stuck with me the longest. Not the gremlin on the wing. Not the post-surgery pig faces reveal. Finally getting all you wanted in life - humanity be damned... and see my first line.

The one with Art Carney where he played Santa Claus and gets fired from the department store and finds the bag outside in the snow that won't stop giving out Christmas presents to all of the poor people and at the end he finds the sleigh and reindeer and takes off into the sky in front of his department store boss who fired him and had him arrested thinking he had stolen the gifts from the department store.

That is the one that I really love watching over and over anytime of the year.

#1 is Walking Distance by far. To be in the third grade and see this story of yearning for childhood innocence & security was a jolt. Gig Young was fantastic as was Frank Overton as his father.

The one that really got me was Execution with Albert Salmi, because the petty thief that breaks into Russell Johnson's lab and kills Salmi & Johnson, has my name. To be 10 & have Rod Serling speak your name...... well it was different! The next day all the kids on the street treated me like a star.

The most disturbing one was Nightmare As A Child, again as a child to view a story where your parents are or were threatened, very uneasy viewing.
