Recently I've begun listing all the Beatles, Wings & solo classics. That I've found on YouTube. Performed by McCartney & his current ( since 2001 ) band

So far I've listed 63 Beatles songs ! Mostly they are Paul's Beatle songs. But there is a smattering of Lennon & Harrison tunes also. The newest ones appear to be Hard Day's Night & Love Me Do. A couple years ago he debuted All Together Now, Lovely Rita, Eight Days A Week & Benefit If Mr Kite, which McCartney now claims was a cowrite .

Songs he hasn't done include Rocky Raccoon, Why Don't We Do It In The Road, Martha My Dear, Hold Me Tight, What You're Doing, When I'm 64, Oh Darling & Maxwell's Silver Hammer. & She Loves You, From Me To You & I Wanna Hold Your Hand.

Some solo songs I'd like to see are, Uncle Albert, Get On Right Thing, Silly Love Songs, London Town, A Little Luck, Daytime Nighttime Suffering, Ballroom Dancing, Take It Away, Pipes Of Peace, No More Lonely Nights, My Brave Face, Song We Were Singing, & many more.

He's done most of 'his' Beatles songs, but skipped a lot of his Wings & solo hits.

I'm speaking of his current band, all the ones he's done, have a certain continuity because they're all done past age 60, & with the same band, which lends a 'sound' imo.

What would you like to see ? What's left ?

I'd like to see a 5-10 dvd set in chronological order, from early Beatles, through the present, featuring all the hits & classics, early Beatles in 1 disc, late Beatles on another, Wings on another & so forth.

We're never going to get them all. He's done most of the Beatles songs, but there are a lot of big Wings songs missing, big hits like Uncle Albert, With A Little Luck & Pipes of Peace for example.

What absolutely should he do ? While there's time

I don't get the neglect of the excellent Flowers in the Dirt material post 2000. I saw that tour and I thought those songs went over very well live!

Could the mod fix the thread title please, where it says love, instead of live.

He can play the whole of "London Town" live and get some flute, fiddle and accordion players on stage to enhance the folk vibe and a new perspective. Next up "Tug of War"...

"Here Today" (from Tug Of War) is a staple of Paul's live show for the last 15 years (or so).

Also, he did "I've Had Enough" (from London Town) during his 1979 UK tour:

Has he ever played Smile Away from Ram?
That would be a great live tune.

Strange that he overlooks "Pipes Of Peace"; "No More Lonely Nights" (maybe even "Say Say Say") from his set lists. Has he ever played those tunes live? They were all pretty big hits.

I seem to remember him saying they rehearsed "No More Lovely Nights", but it "didn't work".

Would love to see/hear Paul bring these songs into this set:

    1. No More Lonely Nights
    2. Daytime Nighttime Suffering
    3. Letting Go
    4. Junior's Farm

I think he's done Letting Go and Junior's Farm already. I just need to see it myself!

I'd love to see a medley of "Oh Darling/Why Don't We Do It In The Road". I really liked his live medley version of "Too Many People/She Came In Through The Bathroom Window". Just wonder if his voice would cut it these days.

I think that he would just be able to pull it off, if he sang in the same style that he sings 'Helter Skelter' in.

I would have loved to hear "No More Lonely Nights" in 2003 or so. Not sure he could do it these days.
