I have a co-worker who has received a cell phone message that is an audio clip from a movie or TV show. She considers it threatening and wonders if the clip is significant but doesn't recognize it. It's a recording of a phone call from an older, southern guy named Joe to a 911 operator from a pay phone at a Stop 'N' Go. In it he's requesting an ambulance because a deer jumped out and hit his car. There's a lot of profanity that's bleeped out. Anyone know this film? She's pretty freaked out by this. Thanks Cheers- Norm

I don't have Real Audio but that doesn't look like it. Close though... Thanks Andrew... Anyone else? Cheers- Norm
I heard the tape in the early 80's - before the "911" recreation. It sounded very real. It starts off with "I need a man with a gun". He claims that he hit the deer with his car, and then he put it in the car to bring it to an animal hospital or something. You can hear the cop cover his end of the phone because he is laughing so hard. The man says he is calling from a pay phone at a "mobeel station", and you can't miss his car "it's a cadillac with a deer sticking out of it".
This sounds familiar... could it the Crank Yankers? Maybe the track 'Hits A Deer' - by Bobby Fletcher from the Best uncensored Crank Yankers Vol.3??? I recently saw this on Comedy Central; very funny. I recall this is not a 911 call, but a crank call to the phone company. cdconnection.com has soundbytes you can sample. search for Crank Yankers
While you're searching for this, you may bump with Woody Allen's The Moose, from his stand up years. Get it. Very funny!!!
