What New Blu-ray disc have you gotten lately? (Disc 4)

It looks marvelous. Hopefully universal will port all the special features.

I picked up:

The Front, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot and a third Twilight Time release that escapes me at the moment. I'm a bit ticked off at TT though. We spent the $100 to receive the signed The Front Blu and we didnt get it. When I called they said we would have to buy the title again (and spend $100) to qualify as that version didnt go on sale until 3/19 something my wife says she never saw in the fine print. I'll admit I went to the site to look it up as well and couldn't find it. Left a sour taste in my mouth for a company that, admittedly, releases cult films and smaller interest releases but charges full price ALL the time for it.

I know previous signed titles were preorders which is what my wife did for me (since it was m bday).

Not sure ill be buying from them again based on this experience.

Their customer service was horrible to deal with. Overall, I was NOT impressed. I've bought other titles from them before but this was the first time we've had a problem and it was handled very poorly.

Liam Neesom has found a nitch for this type of movie, much better than Steven Seagal IMO

 

This week's C.A.R.E. package from Amazonia features The Wolf Of Wall Street and The King Of Comedy. They sound like they go together.

Season 5 of 'Venture Bros.' finally showed up! Not one single episode of this (not even the Halloween special) has aired here in Canada yet, so the whole disc is new stuff (okay, I cheated a little by reading the reviews ovar at the Onion, but that's all) to me.

How are the visuals on that?. I would like to buy this film, if the transfer is good.

 

It's certainly a watchable transfer, though some fans are upset with the differences in color timing seen between it and the previous French Blu-ray. Arrow licensed it from Fox, though it appears they used an older answer print as their film source in place of the camera negative.
