Don't buy nearly as many discs as I used to since I have a subscription to Netfllix. Of course I don't like that most discs from them are just bare-boned movie, only. I have recently purchased the Adele Live at the Royal Albert Hall and the 50th Anniversary edition of West Side Story. I realized this is my fourth copy of West Side Story - VHS, two DVDs and this Blu-ray.

Funny, I just watched this last night (perfect time of year to revisit this gem). We're coming up on the 30th anniversary of Diner in 2012, I would hope something is in the works. I'd love to see Levinson's other Baltimore films released in a Blu Ray collection (Avalon, Tin Men, Liberty Heights). BTW, check out this article that ran in The Sun recently:

I, too would love to see Blu-ray versions of all four of these movies. I always recommend to people that they see these in a time period chronology - Avalon, Liberty Heights, Diner, Tin Men. A great group of movies, indeed.

I've pre-ordered the Swedish set (due out January 4), as opposed to the US set it will contain lossless audio and new AVC encodes.
