What New Blu-ray disc have you gotten lately?

Received season 3 of Fringe yesterday. I am currently awaiting the arrival of Torchwood series 2 (always looking for a good deal on this show so jumping erratically having bought Children of Earth before), The Last Rites of Ransom Pride, The Proposition, Wild Things, Sucker Punch (Unrated) and Smallville season 10.

Now, a cooling off period as I need to sit down and watch everything I've bought since Black Friday. My wallet concurs also!

I like sales on Criterion titles...Rushmore, The Four Feathers, and Island Of Lost Souls are now mine. I also got Woody's Midnight In Paris.

 

I did too and watched it last night. Owen Wilson is Woody Allen in this film!

 

Just started watching the new Criterion Dazed And Confused.
This is great.

 

Seemed like every dept. store in town had a selection of $5 Blu-rays this year during boxing week. I picked up Kiss Kiss Bang Bang & Terminator for myself & Michael Jackson - This is It for my wife for $5 each.

 

I guess I'm weird. I prefer the prequels.

How does "Touch of Evil" look? We haven't gotten it in the States yet.

 

I have only watched the 1.37:1 reconstructed version but I'm very pleased. It's been clean up nicely and it looks like film. It's certainly a big step up from the 50th Anniversary dvd I used to watch.

 

I went shopping at Tar-jeaux this afternoon and came with Contagion and Saving Private Ryan.
