What number did you receive on your "Beatles In Mono" White Album LP?

I ended up with...9036124

To the best of my knowledge, all these new reissues were issued with starting numbers of 9. Yes, number 9, number 9, number 9...

This question is obviously only applicable if you bought one of these.

They sound fabulous by the way! Even though I'm generally more of a fan of the stereo mix for this album.

 

I think we may have had this thread before. Not quite nine times, but getting there...

 

You could be right. I know for certain threads have been started for the original pressing numbers. I wasn't sure about these new mono numbers. I wasn't even sure many bought one!

My apologies. I just did a search and it seems a couple threads on these new mono numbers were started. I should have searched beforehand. If this thread needs to be locked or closed, I understand.

 

Not played mine much... found it a little dull sounding comparered do a 24/96 needledrop I have of a 1st press... but will give it a spin tonight to see how today is... mine is number 9059238

 

I didn't buy it at the time. Too expensive and too incoherent. I've got a few copies now, but couldn't the best songs be squeezed onto a single album and ditch the rest?

If I'd have known back in the day , 1968 that is that lower numbered copies had more value I would have looked for more copies in record stores I could find for a lower number.
