The wonderful guitar interplay in the middle of "Blue Sky" by the Allman Bros is as sweet a thing as I've ever heard - after countless listens I still feel a twinge of disappointment when it's over

Gregg Allman Band - "Can't Get Over You"

The guitar that plays the song out just kicks ass, I could listen to it all day, I believe it's Warren Haynes.

    Check it out

In Supertramp's "It's Raining Again," I love that part nearing the end where he sings "Fill your heart again...." and then that sax solo that follows directly.
    I think it's magical.

The guitar solo in 'Ease' by P.I.L.; easily Vai's greatest recorded piece of music...but then it's the fact that it's so concise and non-fretwanky that makes it so brilliant in the first place!

The orchestral part at the end of Bacharach/Springfield's "The Look of Love" from Casino Royalo. A really lovely string arrangement marred by the sound of farting horns.
