Whatever is next from the Prince vault; I'd be happy with boxes of any of the 80s albums but top of my list would be Around The World In A Day, Parade and Sign O' The Times.

Also looking forward to whatever is in the Japan Quiet Life 40th anniversary box, though I hope it's not going to be just padded with mixes and b-sides we've already got. Anything previously unreleased from the studio would be amazing, but even a decent live set would be welcome.

The Rubellan remasters of Visage's The Anvil and Fade To Grey The Singles Collection are top of my to-buy list.

Quite a few for me (all vinyl):

    From MFSL:

I hope to see the Pat Garrett OST and Oh Mercy by Dylan and Porgy and Bess by Miles Davis.

    They have also announced -

Grateful Dead - Blues For Allah
Iron Butterfly - In A Gadda Da Vida
Johnny Cash - I Walk The Line (mono)
Mahavishnu Orchestra - The Inner Mounting Flame
    Santana - Supernatural
    T-Rex - Electric Warrior
    Vanilla Fudge - S.t

and they have a few One Steps to come out too - I expect to see Yes/Fragile Mingus/ Mingus Ah Um SRV / Couldnt Stand The Weather in 2020.

I will also be picking up all the 2020 Universal / Tone Poet series (titles should be announced any day now) and selected titles from the remaining 80th Anniversary Blue Note series.

    From Analogue Productions:

Ahmad Jamal Trio - At the Pershing /But Not For Me
    Amos Lee - Amos Lee
    Helen Merrill - Self Titled
Tennessee Ernie Ford - Country Hits Feelin' Blue

Plus the 45rpm Box Sets for:

Janos Starker - Bach: Suites For Unaccompanied Cello Complete
Roger Waters - Amused To Death

Hopefully the UHQR of Aqualung will be out next year too.

My most wanted though is the LP reissue of Time The Revelator by Gillian Welch - which has yet to be announced but I hope we will see this in 2020.

You are talking my kind of language! :)

I'm not sure Quiet Life will be anything other than another remaster, certainly if its vinyl only. Maybe its another Abbey Road Half Speed thing. I've been a massive Japan fan for years, I'm doubting given their very crammed and brief timeline they have anything of interest being unreleased we haven't heard so far, but I doubt it would make it past Sylvian's approval process anyway.

What are the Rubellan remasters? I recently re-played The Anvil on original vinyl, its brilliant, real demo worthy spin, so a remaster might not do anything for me. I'm sure I'd read that some of the last CD of this album was mastered directly from a vinyl source, was this true?

There are certainly a lot of possibilities ...

I am definitely awaiting the Pink Floyd Animals 5.1
Devin Townsend's great 2019 album Empath was supposed to be getting a 5.1 at some point
Porcupine Tree's In Absentia, and hopefully Deadwing are supposed to be getting reissued with a couple of faults fixed or something.
I imagine The Beatles Let It Be is coming, and there was supposed to be a Peter Jackson version of the studio footage ....

So there is a bit on the horizon

I would be nice if they did some 5.1 mixes of Japan. That would be a perfect opportunity

Totally burned out on re-issues. I have avoided most of the 2019 ones and I look forward to avoiding the 2020 ones as well. There is so much great music that I don't know that I don't care about a bunch of demos recorded on the toilet bowl 50 years ago by someone whose music I have already played to death.

At the moment my only interest would be to continue with the XTC 5.1 mixes if they manage to do other albums. I can't think of anything else.

The recent Chris Rea deluxe sets and the previously unreleased One Fine Day album were very good. I hope they well enough to trigger further catalogue activity in 2020.

Rod Stewart and Warner / Rhino have teamed up again for his recently released compiliation, hopefully this will signal the restart of the decade old campaign that was heralded by his last mainstream comp with them. If so, it might see the overdue release of Footloose and Blomdes deluxe sets.

    Stuff that’s been officially announced:

    Porcupine Tree - In Absentia
Hendrix - Are You Experienced SACD
King Crimson - the bigger ITCOTCK box
    Bad Company - Desolation Angels
Dio - Angry Machines, Master of the Moon, Killing the Dragon deluxe sets
    Cream - Goodbye Tour
Steven Wilson - Grace for Drowning

Stuff that’s been rumored, strongly hinted at, referenced in the Music Direct catalog, or just that I’m incredibly hopeful for:

Whatever Tom Petty’s bickering family members can agree on
Miles - Live Evil (kind of announced already, but not quite totally out there yet)
Beatles - Let It Be (I think this has all but been officially announced)
    Pink Floyd - Animals 5.1
    Doobie Brothers - Quadio box
Status Quo - Hoping they continue their deluxe reissue campaign
Mahavishnu Orchestra - Inner Mounting Flame SACD
Jethro Tull - deluxe version of A
Paul Simon - Still Crazy... SACD
Wings - London Town and BttE... pretty-please

I’m also really excited for the things that we’re not even aware yet but will pleasantly surprise us once they’re actually announced sometime in 2020.

The previous more recent (meaning last 20+ years) CD editions of The Anvil were awful. Flat, dull, excessive noise reduction to the point that lots of little details was smashed out. The vinyl transfers you mention were some of the bonus material Cherry Red carelessly tacked on their reissue. The new reissue is a brand new transfer from masters, dynamically intact and remastered with great care. The link below has the details of the upcoming reissues, which are in production at this very moment:

We are very likely to get at least one Whitesnake box set (if not two), one deluxe Marillion set (if not two) and probably only one Jethro Tull deluxe set.

Maybe, just maybe the Bowie/Tin Machine box set will be released.

Anything else will be a bonus.

Reading that and looking on Discogs, I realised why I'd never heard of them, US only releases.
