This may have been asked in the past, but there's no harm in an update, especially for some of our newer members.

My choice is... Try to Remember, from the play The Fantasticks. I just hate everything about it, the trite lyrics, the overbearing pomposity, it just makes me want to :hurl: :hurlleft:

"The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by the Tokens. I know, I know, its a classic, I know people love it. It just happens to irritate the hell out of me!

It's a tie between Dream Weaver and Radar Love. Upon hearing either song, I will change the station in nanoseconds.

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, and it makes my fillings hurt. Any song by Queen, actually.

Currently it's Sheryl Crow's "First Cut is The Deepest". I don't listen to radio but I hear this one in every supermarket, drug store, TJ Maxx, everywhere I go. Sheryl please release a new single already!

"Tomorrow" from "Annie". It was used in a commercial a few years back and drove me crazy.

The Pina Colada song. GRRRRRRRRR. Horrible music, horrible lyrics (two lovers decide to cheat on eachother, discover they are cheating WITH eachother, both live happily ever after).

All By Myself - melodramatic to the point of self parody. Unless of course it is a self parody, in which case it's brilliant. :)

For "All By Myself", I've always leaned towards to brilliant self-parody theory. The ultimate pity party; Eric Carmen's hurting and he makes the listener hurt.

May I add "Diana" by Paul Anka? Worst sax solo in the history of music?
